MIGHTi uses grant writing, flexible fundraising, and research support to run our programs. To contribute to community resilience and not perpetuate patterns of dependency, we focus on developing skills and sparking change through partnerships and creative problem solving.
We work with communities to empower leaders, building on existing knowledge, a scientific grounding, and progressive ideas. We co-develop solutions to complex modern challenges, strive to enrich lives, and work to protect the environment.

As of February 2023, MIGHTi has incorporated and purchased five hectares of farmland in Mungu village (Kafue, Zambia). This tract will be the home of the MIGHTi Innovation Hub, housing both our demonstration farm and community gathering space. Purchasing land as a nonprofit is one of the largest roadblocks to getting started, and we are thrilled to have surpassed this milestone. We are now seeking support for the next phase of development, as our team in Zambia works hard to grow key relationships, skills, resilience, healthy food, and excitement at the Innovation Hub!
